I Am Waiting

“How many times have you failed to come to my throne of grace because you felt unworthy or fearful? How many times have I whispered to your heart to bring your cares to me? You did not because in your heart you have said” I have rebelled ten times today and I keep getting angry and cursing. I am so ashamed to come to God in prayer I do not deserve to talk to him. He will never listen to me anyway; I know he is angry at me because I always disobey him.”

“Let me remind you my children what I have I wrote in Hebrews 4:16 “Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need”. “How can I help you if you do not bring your prayer requests to me? Yes I am God and I know your requests before you ask them of me. My throne is a throne of grace and I want you as my children to come boldly to me in confident faith. Give me something to work with and I will work wonders for you.”

“I have written to you in Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” “Also, Isaiah 65:24” Before they call I will answer; while they are still speaking I will hear.” “Children I am bound to my word but you must speak and ask then I will hear. So bring my heart pleasure and please me by bringing your precious requests to me in faith. COME IN FAITH AND SURELY YOUR GOD WILL ANSWER YOU. PLEASE DO NOT BE AFRAID!”

  1. Beautiful. God’s pure words. He never sleeps. He’s always listening. Seek me Lord and know my heart. Test me and know my anxious thoughts. See if there is any offensive way in me. (Psalm 139:23-24) Thanks Greg for sharing.

  2. Yes, God eagerly wants us to come before him. He can’t wait to hear us. If there is anyone who is a good listener without interrupting, all of the time, it is God. Great post, Greg.
