Sharing Faith as a Writer

1 Corinthians 12:3-5 (NIV) 4) There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. 5) There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.

God gave Joel Bauer the vision of this website. As the leader of this venture, he has assembled our team of writers. Here at The Bottom Line, our desire is to write God-honoring articles and share news from a Christian perspective. Our goal – to share the love and hope of our Savior Jesus Christ. Through TBLminististries.org, we colligate with other Christian websites to share God’s Love and Truth through fellowship and ministry. It only makes sense that one such fellowship is with FaithWriters.com – the home for Christian writers. Owners Mike and Bea Edwards, like those of us at The Bottom Line, are committed to bringing people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.

Have you felt God is leading you in this same direction? Maybe you have been told that you are a gifted writer but you lack confidence, or you are uncertain where to begin. If you would like to hone your writing skills FaithWriters.com is a great place to start.

But wait! FaithWriters is not just for writers. If you host a Christian website or are a Christian organization in need of material there are thousands of articles to review. In addition to articles for sale, writers post many articles free to reprint. If you are neither a writer nor are looking for material to reprint, but you enjoy reading Christian (as well as not specifically Christian) material, that will not include objectionably graphic or offensive language, there is a variety of genres to choose from.

Several of the writers here at the Bottom Line have reaped the benefits of our FaithWriters.com memberships. We all share in our appreciation for their mission to help Christian writers develop skills and reach their full God-given potential – all for His glory.

Philippians 1:3-6 (NIV)   3) I thank my God every time I remember you. 4) In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy 5) because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, 6) being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

About Melinda

Melinda is currently the worship leader at her small church in rural America. Married for 23 years, she and her husband Larry have one son. She is the Director of Mailing in the print/mailing industry by day and freelance author by night. Her desire to write is a passion borne from tragedy. God used it to take her faith to a much deeper level. Melinda is a freelance writer and member of FaithWriters. She joined the TBL team in March 2014. Believing we are citizens of a greater ‘kingdom,’ her articles for The Bottom Line examine governmental responsibility, citizen involvement and current political topics. With the great wisdom contained in scripture as her guide, she looks at today’s political environment from a Biblical perspective. She prays her words will prompt the reader to view citizenship - and every aspect of their life, through the eyes of faith. 1. Great report, Melinda. I get to be a part of two Godly writing sites and reap the benefits and blessings of both. My writing can’t help but improve!

  2. Absolutely! I have been posting articles for four years on faithwriters. God has taken my writing around the world, with comments from people on five continents of how it has impacted their lives. It is a great place to start, no matter what level of competence you have. Do it just because you love to write or to begin using your gift, and see how God uses it. Faithwriters gets 400, 000 hits a month and has seen over 400 people accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior as a direct result of people being drawn on to the site.

    • P.S. I, too, got “discovered” as a result of being on faithwriters and now am having a great time on the writing team for thebottomline.co. John Livingston Clark

  3. I love Faithwriters and their heart for God. I would not be where I am today if it wasn’t for them. Great ministry. Nicely written article.

    • Thank you for sharing our site Betty. We pray that those at your church will be blessed when they visit. Since you enjoy our Christian articles here on TheBottomLine.co, you may also be interested in visiting our other sites as well. TBLministries.org is our fellowship and outreach site. BibleAbout.org (which is due to launch soon) is a site where readers may ask questions about the Bible. We will attempt to give them direct and honest answers to their questions.
