Give Me Your Lunch Money!

Give Me You Lunch Money!

Eight year old Cayden Taipalus of Howell, Michigan witnessed one of his friends having to give up a French toast meal and settle for a cheese sandwich because he didn’t have enough money in his school lunch account to cover the meal.  This infuriated Cayden, so he devised a plan with his mother called “Pay It Forward: No Kid Goes Hungry” that involves recycling for cash and accepting donations.  This program not only pays off the delinquent lunch accounts of low income children, but also adds money to their accounts so they can purchase regular school lunches in the future.

Since putting this plan into action, Cayden has raised approximately $18k.  His goal is to address the hunger problem with kids throughout his entire school district.  He also has a website where you can donate to his program.  Good job Cayden! https://fundrazr.com/campaigns/7htY4
