Zephaniah 3:17(NIV)—The Lord your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
God is love. He promised to never abandon us. No matter what happens to us or no matter where we go we can never be lost to his love. It is a comfort to know it is impossible to be separated from Christ. His death for us is proof of His unconquerable love. Nothing can stop Christ’s constant presence with us.
In Romans 8:37-39, the Scripture shows us how impossible it is to be separated from His love. [37) No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38) For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord]. He loves us unconditionally which we cannot describe or even fathom the extent. When we believe these overwhelming assurances, we will not be afraid of Him ever turning His back on us.
Psalm 34:15-16(NIV)–15) The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their cry; 16) the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.
We need to believe and trust Him because He is a just God. He protects His children, and the evil in this world will pay by His hand in His timing. Sometimes it may seem that evil people get away with their actions, but God is always in control and He has consequences for all of them, if they don’t repent. God is our refuge.
God is constant and will never fail us. He is so faithful and true. He has promised to provide for us and to always be with us. We can trust Him with all of our lives, our every moment of every day is important to Him. He wants to be involved with our daily lives. He wants to be included. We all have a purpose to fulfill and He will help us every inch of the way, if we let Him. I hope you choose to live for Christ today.
