Don’t Break the Connection

We all spend so much time trying to keep in touch. We use social media to keep connected, but what would you do if that connection was broken?  As Christians we are connected to Jesus. When you plant something there are always vines that help keep that plant growing.  In the Bible, Jesus tells us ” I AM THE TRUE VINE. ” (John 15:1)  This is the connection that should not be broken. He also goes on to tell us in John 15:5 “I AM THE VINE,AND YE ARE THE BRANCHES: HE THAT ABIDETH IN ME AND I IN HIM, THE SAME BRINGETH FORTH MUCH FRUIT: FOR WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING. ” Just like plugging something in to a electric socket we need realize that He is our power source. Sin can break that connection. The best way we can stay connected is in daily prayer. When was the last time you had some Jesus time? Staying connected to Him you will produce the fruits of the spirit. You say what are the fruit of the Spirit. In Galatians 5:22-23 “THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH, MEEKNESS, TEMPERANCE. ” Keep yourself connected a your life will change.
