“End of the Harvest” Movie Review

Revelation 14:15(KJV)—And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, thrust in thy sickle, and reap; for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

This is one of my favorite end-times films. This film features a compelling gospel presentation and the answers to eternal life. It is a powerful evangelistic film with a surprise ending!! Guaranteed you’ll watch this more than once and want to have others watch. It is a strong tool for witnessing.

It is a short 54 minute film, but it has a lot of biblical content with an end-times message that will have people thinking about their destiny. It is an older movie, but the message is the same now and it is even closer than it was when I first saw it in 1998.  David White plays a mature Christian believing college student that found a controversial theory report about when Christ will return that was written back in the 1940’s. He has a recurring dream of a farmer in a field which is explained at the end. It still pertains to today. It helps show that there is an eternal life. The movie shows how close we are to the Second Coming of Christ and the events surrounding it. This film presents the Gospel and can be an effective tool in reaching people for Christ before it is too late. The Second Coming is closer than you think!

This movie takes place in a college and focuses on a Philosophy Club meeting that is filled with atheists. They humiliate one fellow Christian believer, who tries to share Christ with them, but they really intimidate him and he fails miserably. Another student wants to seek revenge and wants to present “When the world will end.” Plus, he wants to put the atheists in their place.

In this hard hitting inspiring prophecy drama, a college student discovers the shocking truth that the six days of Creation could be a picture of how the course of life on earth leads up to the return of Christ… and today could be the “final day” of that picture. It makes me long for the rapture of the church!

Matthew 13:38-40(KJV)—38) The field is the whole world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39) The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40) As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in fire; so shall it be in the end of the world.
