Forgiven Not Perfect

As Christians we are not perfect, but somewhere along the line a few think they are. Speaking for myself  I stumble, make mistakes, but praise God I have a heavenly Father that loves me unconditionally and chose me to be His, and I accepted. Its my hope that in a world where bad things are done in the name of God, Christians call out and condemn others Christians, and where people looking for Christian perfection find none that we all reexamine exactly what it means to be a Christian and find some humility by remembering who we are and what we were. We are not better, not perfect, but Christian. I believe if we do what God commands us to do as Christians we can win more souls. You see we talk about the people of the world but we are not any better. We can’t even forgive our Christian brothers or sisters but yet we are that Christian that have it all together.

When I say…. ” I am a Christian, I am saying  I was once Lost but now Forgiven” I sometime stumble and need Christ to guide Me.” I’m professing  that I get  weak and need His strength to carry on.” I have failed and need God to clean my mess. Not perfect but God believes I am worth it. I’m not holier than thou, just a simple sinner who received God’s good grace somehow.

So if you hear me say I am a Christian it simply mean I am Forgiven, not perfect not better. My task on this earth is to try to reach many that feel somewhere they lost hope in the church  and people. Christians lets do better, so many souls are searching but when they see some of us they question it. We can keep it real as the young people say. When you are that real Christian people will notice it. Its not popularity I am looking for its reaching lost souls just being me. So today Christians remember you are not Perfect just Forgiven.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood- to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished. Romans 3:23-25

I pray that everyone that read this encourage one another and build each other up. You might be the one that can help reach many. Be that true Christian that keep it real. Much Love to you All.
