Witness To His Glory

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

In the midst of everyday life, which encompasses our trials and tribulations, and all of the in-betweens, we sometimes might be lacking in acknowledging our gifts, and blessings from above, that still go on to this very day and age.

While we incorporate and perform our everyday activities and tasks, we should be laser focused on aspects that we can be “witness” to. For example, things that are good, events that are life changing, occasions of significance, and scenarios that truly can only have come from above.

What is it that I’m actually saying here?  To be keenly aware of our blessings, and to be verbal about such events in witness of His glory, while we are here in the flesh.  When prayers are answered, or an operation goes exceedingly well, or a baby is born, a child is adopted, or soulmates marry. These are all gifts, and come from our Father, always.

There’ve been times while I’m at a gathering of some sort, or privy to individuals speaking about powerful events, that could only be because of our LORD.  Sadly, most of the people speaking about their circumstances referred to the situations as “luck.”  Some basing it on mere “coincidence.”

Luck? Coincidence?  I think not. Let me clarify by saying, yes, we all make choices, that ultimately will either prove to be successful, or disastrous.

However, when we build a Spiritual foundation of trust, and turn to Him for answers, and decisions guided by His hand, invariably, it will be the most favorable outcome. Whereas, if we attempt to go it alone, without Him, well…let’s just say, the final results might not be all that we hoped for.

Proverbs 3:3-4  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

And most important, be a witness for Him, in all you do.  It will be the best decision you will ever make in your lifetime!

“Father, may I acknowledge You in all that I do, may I trust You and be guided by Your will for my life, and may I forever honor and be witness for Your glory, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
