This Too Shall Pass -Enduring Trials Through The Spirit

Are any of you going through a mass amount of suffering at this time? Are you going through issues that seem so overwhelming that you feel as if you can’t breathe from the stress or the angst in your heart and soul?  It happens – and it just so happens that a lot of my family right now is kind of going through big deep valleys of tribulation. And there are issues of concern right in my own household. It’s raining and we’re all looking for the rainbow to come out. And we need to push on in our faith – and know that God is with us through it all.

Romans 5:3-5 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

This passage brings my heart joy knowing that this too shall pass – and that God remains with us throughout the entire ordeal. He is there and lovingly giving us strength to endure and to forge forward.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

This passage brings enormous comfort knowing that our pain and tribulations will be rewarded.

2 Timothy 2:3 Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. –

Again, we are all in this together, and we all experience hardships in life. We are Christian soldiers and with the strength of the Holy Spirit we can endure anything. We only can do this through His Spirit not ours.

Isaiah speaks about many of God’s promises to be with His people and help them in times of trouble. In large part it’s where God assures Israel of His protection and deliverance from their enemies.

Isaiah 41:10  Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

This verse can be a source of comfort and encouragement for anyone who is facing difficulties or challenges in life.

It reminds us that God is always with us, and He will give us the strength, help, and support we need to overcome any obstacle. He will also uphold us with His righteous right hand, which means He will defend us from evil and injustice, and He will reward us with His blessings and favor.

When we embrace our inner spirit and know that the Comforter is within we are able to endure-as we are led by the Spirit. Breathing with ease through His Spirit of wisdom and guidance, we know that the rain will eventually stop. We know that the thunder will eventually cease. We know that the sun will get to shine once again. And we know this, because “this too shall pass” as it has so many other times-although different issues or circumstances-it passed-and so it shall again.

Why do I endure? Because that’s when as a Christians I get stronger through Christ.  And my faith goes into overdrive! Scripture, promises, and faith, and the love of God get me through it each and every time. No matter the outcome, or the time – I know it’s for the best, and it’s His will not mine. He never fails, He never deserts, He never pulls out of a promise, and the Comforter is always with me.  Now I ask you this – With all of His promises, His love, His strength, His Word, and Christ that lives within -isn’t it powerfully encouraging knowing we are victorious through Christ? Amen!

“LORD, help me to surge ahead during the trials, help me to be led by Your Spirit in all I do, may I realize that You remain in control, and that I live under the auspices of Your love and Your ways and Your will, may I surrender to You in all things, at all times, and never lose sight that You reign victorious, and that all trials and tribulations lead to rewards in Your time, and according to Your will, thank You in Jesus’ name, Amen.”
