Who Is God To You?

对你而言，上帝是谁？

“I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.  The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower…Psalm 18:1-2.”

1 耶和华我的力量啊，我爱你！2 耶和华是我的岩石，我的山寨，我的救主，我的神，我的磐石，我所投靠的。他是我的盾牌，是拯救我的角，是我的高台。诗篇 18

This psalm should really be called the Me psalm, especially these first two verses.

诗篇18 真的是称为“我的诗篇”，特别是前两节。

I just love how it starts, I will love the Lord, what a wonderful statement for the psalmist to make. We all need to say every morning, in every moment. That we love the Lord. In fact, have you ever just spoken to God and said out loud? I love you Lord. Try it, because it is so beautiful, and our Lord loves to hear it. God loves us so much, and gives us His love unconditionally, how often do we tell Him that we Love Him?

我特别喜欢它的开头：“我爱耶和华”。对诗人来说，这是何等美好的宣告。我们每天、每时都应该这样说，我们爱主。事实上，你曾经向上帝大声说过“我爱你”吗？试试吧，因为这样说是如此美妙，而且我们的主喜欢听到。上帝如此爱我们，无条件地给我们他的爱，我们又有多常告诉他我们爱他呢？

There are 9 “my” statements in these two verses, all of these apply to us in different ways, my strength may apply to someone more than it applies to another person.

For me, the one that stands out is the one right in the middle. My God. its right in the middle. Maybe you don’t find that significant. That’s what ties all these together, all the others are important, God is all these things and more to me, but He is My God. my personal Lord. The one who is Lord over my life, who has control over it.

Make these verses personal, whatever MY is yours. make it personal.  God is not some far off figure, He is MY/YOUR. He is ours and we are His. Amen.
