Taking The First Bite

How exactly can having 15-20 jobs over one’s working lifetime represent corruption? To answer the question, we need to look at the definition of corruption;

“Dishonest or fraudulent conduct by those in power.” Or “The act of making someone/something morally depraved.”

Young men and women, I believe that you have been deceived by the Ruler of this world, (Satan), into believing that corruption is normal. I believe that you have been morally depraved of the opportunity to truly know what commitment is instead of believing life is a multiple-choice quiz; many choices to answer the question. However, only one answer can be correct.

You have not been given accurate instructions as to what commitment is or looks like since most adolescents have been raised in a home where commitment is rarely if ever modeled. Instead it comes across as weakness in a relationship. (“We don’t need to get married that is too complicated. Instead, we will just live together.”)

Due to the misguided directions of commitment; America is on the brink of a catastrophic explosion and a breakdown of a moral society. What seems up is declared as down. What appears to be morally right has become exceedingly wrong.

Teenagers and young adults have been forced into believing that making a commitment to one thing is just not good enough. Not only that, but you have also been taught that if more than one choice is not offered, a fair assessment of the subject cannot take place. There always has to be more than one idea, more than one way to solve the problem. However, there is only one way out of this deception, corruption, and lack of commitment.

The moment that Eve took a bite out of the fruit, and called her husband to do the same, a decision was made. A commitment took place. There was no turning back. It wasn’t the wisest of choices, but at least they made a commitment, which when followed through turning God’s beauty and perfection into ugliness and corruption.

Yet God made a commitment to His people if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Corinthians 7:14) Translation? God will rescue you from this indecisive madness if you just commit your life to Him.

Did you know that He wants you to make a choice? Commit to him all your ways “In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:6) Do not continue to be deceived by the Ruler of this world, but choose to let you mind and heart be transformed by the Holy Spirit.
