They Were Written in Your Book…

“…all the days (of my life) were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.” ( Psalm 139:16) You know every day that each one of us has on this earth. Your eyes have seen every dream, every hope, all our pain and sorrow, our joy and delight. You know our beginning and our end. Every name, written in Your Book of Life.

“…You have collected all my tears and preserved them in your bottle! You have recorded every one in your book.” ( Psalm 56:8) No sorrow is forgotten, no grief borne alone. Our tears of sorrow, and tears of joy, private tears that no one else will ever see, they are precious to You. Every tear, recorded in Your Book.

“…And the names of those who worshipped the Lord and honored Him were written down before Him in a Book to be remembered.” (Malachi 3:16) You know those who love and serve You. You listen to their conversations, testifying to one another of Your goodness. And you do not forget their testimonies. Every word, recorded in Your Book of Remembrance.

“…nothing evil will be permitted in it”…”.only those whose names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.” (Revelation 3:5) Our free will is a gift from You. We each choose for ourselves whether we will serve You with our lives. The penalty for our sins has been paid by Your Son, and He has prepared a place for those who love Him. Every name of those who know Him, they are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

You are not removed from Your creation, if only we would see. You are God, and you love us more than we can ever understand. So much that our tears, our words, and our names… are written in Your Book.
