The Message Remains The Same

The message has remained the same for over 2,000 years.  It can still bring the same freedom, victory, and joy to it’s hearer – regardless.  Those who believe and receive it step from death into life in the twinkling of an eye.  Each one is born again.  Each becomes an heir to the King’s heavenly kingdom.  The sinner’s rags are exchanged for a royal robe.  The angels rejoice as the news reaches them.  Jesus, the Son of God, has come to take what’s wrong and make it right.

Jesus is the King of Kings, the Lord of heaven and earth

He chose to give up royalty to assume a human birth.

He wanted you and me to know that He loves us all the way;

Yes, all the way to Calvary where He died for us that day.

We often do not realize the price He chose to pay

To salvage us from death and hell and slow but sure decay.

He’s given us the choice each one to decide where we will spend

Our eternal ever-after;  on us it will depend.

Now this is not a song of woe or things to high above us.

Jesus lives forever more to show us that He loves us.

He heals the sick, frees those in bonds, and causes storms to cease.

He takes the most unhappy hearts and puts there-in His peace.

Our ticket He’s already paid into life abundantly.

Each must confess that “Jesus Christ has died to set ME free”.

When we repent and choose the Lord, God’s children we will be;

So choose the Lord, the gifts He gives, and live eternally.

  1. WOW Stephanie, What a poem! We are getting the truth out on this website every way we can.

    • Thank you, John. It is one of my first ones. Yes, the message is forever the same. Why do we feel the need to always “improve” upon its presentation?
