Morning Sunrays Of Delight

Morning delight as the dark turns into day,
Another chance to hear what He has to say.

Dancing sunrays play coyishly across my face,
My faith securely rooted and never out of place.

His creations abound throughout all I see,
His Son, my LORD and Savior has set me free.

Major mishaps mesh with menacing sights,
Flesh and Spirit rise against the other in daily fights.

Hovering high and nestled safely and secure,
His wings of protection a haven in which, I’m sure.

My LORD is my Master, Jesus a wonderful name,
My Redeemer and soul saver, One and the same.

Those in the Bible saw and knew Him well,
Although some were reluctant to speak and tell.

His healings and compassion fame spread fast,
His promises and His truth will forever last.

He lovingly spoke through the prophets and chosen ones,
He loves His children with the capacity of 10,000 suns.

Incline both ears faithfully and fully so to absorb and hear,
He shall guide and direct and heal, I’ve nothing to fear.

During the day I try to do all according to His will,
For His crimson blood from the rugged cross did spill.

His Grace and willingness to save me from sin,
With Him in my corner I never lose but win.

I set my sight on things from high above,
I fully embrace His Presence and His mighty love.

I believe in the LORD that gives everlasting life,
I am encased in His love that keeps me from strife.

Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved and shall go in and out and find pasture.
