Restorative Love

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

O’ so tenderly You have called me,
with Your blood you set me free.

You have called me by my name,
By Your grace I’m not the same.

In the deep waters You are there,
Your Presence in which I’m aware.

You whisper, “Be still and know I’m God,”
Some feel my adoration for You is odd.

Your peace rules inside my heart,
I was Yours right from the start.

My burdens I cast you always take,
Your love is the opposite of fake.

I am a child of a Royal King,
Your love for me is my everything.

Every day I am filled with such peace,
I am cleansed and white as fleece.

Circumstances in the world I never fear,
Because You are close and always near.

Flesh and chaos keep far away from me,
I am protected and the enemy will flee.

A witness to Your miracles and more,
It is You alone I idolize and adore.

Darkness doesn’t exist with you in my life,
Seeing others pushing you away cuts like a knife.

Accepting You from childhood to this day,
I listen and long for everything you say.

Your sacrifice and mission to save is complete,
With you I will win and never face a defeat.

You are in my corner always have been,
You have died for me and took away my sin.

I adore love honor and worship You my King,
To You I bow exalt and will gladly sing.

One day I shall enter Your Kingdom high above,
Then drop to my knees to meet my truest love.

“Father, to You be the glory, honor and dominion, now and forever, in Jesus’ name, Amen.”

  1. The joy, peace, and paise you express and experience is what so many understand and relate to. Truly saddening that so many in this world are chasing after those things that never can bring them true gifts that satisfy the heart, soul, and mind.
Hoping many are searching for what you spoke about and will see that the answer is only in Christ.

  2. Thank you so much Cora!
I think you know by now how much I appreciate you and your input.
And to love Him so deeply, is such a gift for us all.

    God Bless you~
