Walking In The Spirit

Stanza 1

I walk in truth where shadows fade, For God is near and I’m unafraid. His Spirit leads with gentle light, And turns my darkness into sight.

“The LORD is my light and my salvation…” Psalm 27:1

Stanza 2

In honesty my soul is free, For Christ has spoken life to me. No chains remain, no fear can stay, His love renews me day by day.

“Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:32

Stanza 3

Through valleys deep His strength is mine, A holy peace, a love divine. He lifts my heart when hope feels thin. And breathes His courage deep within.

“My grace is sufficient for thee…” 2 Corinthians 12:9

Stanza 4

In quiet trust I hear His voice, And in His presence I rejoice. He guides my steps, He calms my fear, His whispered truth draws ever near.

“Be still, and know that I am God…” Psalm 46:10

Stanza 5

So hand in hand with Christ I go, Through every high and every low. His Spirit keeps my spirit strong, And fills my life with heaven’s song.

“Walk in the Spirit…” Galatians 5:16

“LORD teach us to walk in Your Spirit with steady hearts and open hands. Let Your truth be the compass that guides our steps, and Your love be the strength that carries us through every valley and every joy. Quiet the noise around us so we may hear Your whisper, and calm the storms within us so we may rest in Your peace. Shape our thoughts, soften our words, and purify our intentions, that our lives may reflect the beauty of Your Presence. Lead us in honesty, humility, and courage, and let every breath we take be rooted in Your grace. Keep us close, keep us faithful, and keep us walking in the light of Your Spirit all our days. In Jesus name, Amen.”
