He’s Coming Back!

When we’re so distraught over our mistakes,
our Savior, Jesus, is always awake.

Oh, how soon our hearts can quickly forget,
His promises speaking, ‘I’m in your midst.’

Your undying love You’ve shown on the cross,
was given for all at such a great cost.

None deserves the love You gave that day,
because our lives were torn in disarray.

It was Your blood poured out at Calvary,
Your mercy and grace are given so freely.

It didn’t stop the plan You had in place,
off ‘ring redemption for the human race.

But wait, there’s more! It’s not the end yet,
don’t wring your hands with worry and regret.

Remember, the tomb where His body lay,
how it was removed that glorious day?

It was only three days before He rose,
to sit with the Father beside His throne.

He reigns eternally with God, it’s true,
and He’ll one day return for me and you!

What a victorious day that will be,
when Jesus’ face we will finally see.

What seemed like forever is here at last,
now everything is truly in the past!

From the top of our heads, down to our shoes,
no more tears or pain, for all is brand new.

Rejoicing, peace, and love will fill the air,
so much there will be no room for despair.

All of those that have arrived before us,
are waiting so we can join the chorus!

Saints of new and old are certainly here,
relatives, too that I’ve not seen in years!

The time will come soon, there’s no time to waste,
draw near to Jesus, before it’s too late!

Is your life in Jesus sure and steady?
When the trumpet sounds will you be ready?

Luke 12:40 “Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.”
