Jerusalem and the Temple

Without Israel and the rebuilt temple in Jerusalem, Bible prophecy cannot be fulfilled. Two new developments have recently taken place. One, at the present time there are five red heifers in Israel, of which one or more may qualify for temple sacrifice and cleansing, in accordance to Jewish beliefs. The red heifers were found in Texas. In the words of Byron Stinson, who claims to be probably the best red heifer hunter in Texas, “the red heifer is the key to making the temple work like it’s supposed to.”

Two, it has been reported by an article posted on Jewish News, dated  February 19, 2020, that Israel is building a new train station connecting the Tel Aviv airport to the Western Wall in Jerusalem. Why is this significant? Is Jerusalem anticipating a huge influx of people some time in the future? It could have prophetic importance.

During the millennial reign of King Jesus, after the Tribulation Period, Jerusalem and the Temple will become the focal point of worship. In the Old Testament Book of Jeremiah, the prophet foretold, “At that time Jerusalem shall be called the throne of the Lord, and all nations shall gather to it, to the presence of the Lord in Jerusalem, and they shall no more stubbornly follow their own evil heart”(Jeremiah 3:17). Several other prophetic passages in Isaiah 2:2-3, 56:6-8; Haggai 2:7, and Micah 4:2, all say that “all nations and peoples” will come to Jerusalem to worship and pray. During the reign of King Jesus, Israel will have an entirely different status in the world than it does currently. There will be 1000 years of righteousness, justice, and peace with Jesus ruling from Jerusalem! Hallelujah!

We are witnessing many prophecies transitioning into the Tribulation Period, but don’t hear much about what will happen after that. It could be very significant  that Israel is building a train station to transport people from the Tel Aviv airport to Jerusalem. Are they preparing the way for people from all nations to come to their land as foretold in scripture? If so, we are seeing not only prophecies that will be fulfilled in the Tribulation Period, but also those foretold during the 1000 year rule of Jesus. This would then mean that the rapture of the Church and the Tribulation Period are very near!
