Omnipotent God, how awesome is your name on this earth!
Your glory is above the heavens, that’s how much your worth
Out of the mouths of the insignificant you have revealed your nobility
So the wicked may cease their wrongdoings when they see your ability

When I sit back and ponder on all the works your hands have created;
The heavens, the moon, the stars that came into being because you dictated
I wonder, what’s the importance of human that you should show them attention?
What’s the importance of mankind for you to care and shower them with affection?

Yet, you make us just a little lower than the heavenly beings,
And crown us with glory and honor among many other things
You appoint us to rule over the works of thy hands—your creation
Though we often fail, you still spare us from dreadful condemnation

You have placed everything under our authority
Over the sheep, oxen, and beast we take priority
The bird of heaven and the fish of the sea are included too
In fact, everything that moves through the ocean blue
Our Lord, giver of life through the process of birth
How magnificent is your reputation throughout the earth!
