He Is Our Firm Foundation

Others may scoff, while you’re serving the One,
but ultimately their last breath will come.

They will realize that they were mistaken,
when the storms of life shake their foundation.

The layer of rock on which they’re lacking,
will cost them a price due to their laughing.

Among them there will only be sadness,
because of the choices of their madness.

Without Jesus as our firm foundation,
nothing on earth can shake our location.

We need to build up from where we once were,
walking with our Savior, steadfast and sure.

If our hearts are rooted in Him only,
there will be no room for any phonies.

Phonies, noticed for their false teaching,
misleading believers of Jesus’ preaching.

With the Trinity of God on our side,
we have three times the power in our lives.

The devil will have no vigor against us,
as long as we stay focused on Jesus.

As the Truth is proclaimed across the world,
more of God’s love will begin to unfurl!

Many spirits are draining our cultures,
tearing down our love for one another.

Fallen spirits hear every spoken word,
deterring those claiming Jesus as Lord.

Therefore, in Christ there’s no competition,
ending any, at His crucifixion!

When we’ve decided to accept Jesus Christ —
Our Savior will help us walk through this life.

In this life, we will each have our battles
and their used to keep our spirits rattled!

As waves of persecution come our way,
the decision we make will change our day.

If we’re grounded in Jesus Christ, God’s Son,
our trust in Him will always overcome.

Grounded in Jesus, our vict’ry is sure,
while pressing on to focus and endure!

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

In August of 2022, she became a Poetry author (Living Poems: From the Father's Heart - Inspirational Poems). She also enjoys sharing God's heart through freelance writing, as well. She is also a member of Faithwriters.com. Linda still enjoys the companionship of two pets, Tina (Chihuahua) and Miss Kitty (Tabby). Their grandson (18) plans on finishing high school next year. Linda hopes to put another book together, as the Lord leads, and is hoping to pursue her interests in writing a memoir. Her writings are concentrated on hearing the heart of God, by encouraging other believers and revealing God's heart for unbelievers.
