3 The contribution of the king from his own possessions was for the burnt offerings: the burnt offerings of morning and evening, and the burnt offerings for the Sabbaths, the new moons, and the appointed feasts, as it is written in the Law of the Lord.  4 And he commanded the people who lived in Jerusalem to give the portion due to the priests and the Levites, that they might give themselves to the Law of the Lord. 5 As soon as the command was spread abroad, the people of Israel gave in abundance the firstfruits of grain, wine, oil, honey, and of all the produce of the field. And they brought in abundantly the tithe of everything. 6 And the people of Israel and Judah who lived in the cities of Judah also brought in the tithe of cattle and sheep, and the tithe of the dedicated things that had been dedicated to the Lord their God, and laid them in heaps.7 In the third month they began to pile up the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month. 8 When Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the Lord and his people Israel. 9 And Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites about the heaps. 10 Azariah the chief priest, who was of the house of Zadok, answered him, “Since they began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord, we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed his people, so that we have this large amount left.”

3王从自己的产业中定出分来为燔祭，就是早晚的燔祭，和安息日，月朔，并节期的燔祭，都是按耶和华律法上所载的。4 又吩咐住耶路撒冷的百姓，将祭司利未人所应得的分给他们，使他们归服耶和华的律法。5谕旨一发出，以色列人就把初熟的五谷、新酒、油、蜜和田地的出产多多送来。他们就多多地把各物的十分之一奉来。6 住犹大各城的以色列人、和犹大人、也将牛羊的十分之一、并分别为圣归耶和华他们神之物、就是十分取一之物、尽都送来．把他们堆起来。7到了第三个月，他们开始堆垒，到了第七个月就堆完了。8 希西家和众首领来，看见堆垒，就称颂耶和华和他的民以色列。9 希西家问祭司和利未人堆垒的事。10 撒督家的大祭司亚撒利雅、对他说、自从他们将供物送到耶和华殿以来、我们都吃且吃饱、且剩下的甚多．因为耶和华赐福给他的民、我们才剩下这许多的人。

Along with Josiah, King Hezekiah was a wonderful king. In fact he was one of the last was one of the last things of Judah, for soon the Nation of Israel would to be taken into captivity in Babylon.

与约西亚一样，希西家王也是一位出色的国王。事实上，他是犹大国最后的人之一，因为不久以色列人就要被掳到巴比伦去。

Giving to the Lord is often a challenge for Christians.  Most believers refuse to tithe, claiming that this form of giving is based on the Old Testament.  This claim raises an interesting question?  If the Israelites gave a tithe of their substance during a time in which goats and lambs were offered, how much should we give in honor of the sacrifice of the spotless Lamb of God, Jesus Christ?

奉献给主对基督徒来说，常常是一个挑战。大多数信徒拒绝十一奉献，声称这种形式的奉献是基于旧约。这个说法引出了一个有趣的问题？如果以色列人在献祭山羊和羔羊的时候，奉献他们财产的十分之一，那么我们应该奉献多少来纪念上帝无瑕疵的羔羊耶稣基督的牺牲呢？

In this passage, King Hezekiah gives a command to the people to provide for the Levites; note the response of the people, and secondly the results of their giving.

Their Response:

Their response was immediate:  The words AS SOON AS,  the people heard the order by  King Hezekiah, they responded immediately. How quick do you respond to God’s commands, especially the hard ones?

They gave in abundance: Maybe they had little, but that did not prevent them from giving abundantly. Does their response describe us, or does it convict us?

他们慷慨地给予：也许他们所拥有的很少，但这并不妨碍他们慷慨地给予。他们的反应是在描述我们，还是在证明我们有罪？

They gave of everything:  They did not hide anything.  They gave with a cheerful heart. Are we like Ananias and his wife who tried to hide a portion of their offering from God?

他们什么都给，什么都不隐瞒。他们心甘情愿地给予。我们是不是像亚拿尼亚和他的妻子，想要把他们的供物藏起来，不让神知道呢？

Their giving was consistent: It was consistent and continuous giving, lasting from the third to the seventh month.  Do we give on a one-time basis? Do we give to a special event, but neglect to give to ministries and to our home church?

他们的奉献是一致的：这是一致的和持续的奉献，从第三个月持续到第七个月。我们是一次性捐款吗我们是否在一个特别的事件上奉献，却忽略了奉献给事工和我们的家庭教会？

Look at the response of the King, the people were willing to give, because they had seen the example of Hezekiah in Verse 3.  If you are a pastor, you need to be the example to your church in the area of giving.

But look at the result of their giving in verse 10: “Since they began to bring the contributions into the house of the Lord, we have eaten and had enough and have plenty left, for the Lord has blessed his people, so that we have this large amount left.”

但请看第10节他们奉献的结果：“自从他们将供物送到耶和华殿的时候，我们都吃饱了，并且余剩的甚多，因为耶和华赐福给他的百姓，我们所剩下的才这样丰盛。”

Malachi 3 tells us to bring our tithes and offerings into God’s house; it goes on to say that the Lord will open the doors of heaven and pour out a blessing so great that we not have room enough to receive it.  We think that if we keep our money, we will have more, but in reality, if we come and pile our offerings and tithes in heaps, we will experience the promise found in the Book of Malachi.

玛拉基书3章告诉我们要把我们的什一奉献和供物带到神的殿里；它接着说，主将打开天上的门，倾下极大的祝福，以至于我们没有足够的空间来接受它。我们认为，如果我们保持我们的钱，我们将有更多，但在现实中，如果我们来把我们的奉献和什一奉献成堆，我们会经历的承诺，发现在玛拉基书。

God never gives His children “enough.”  He always gives us more than we could ever need!

Sometimes, ministries will host telethons on TV to raise money for a project and then someone will match the amount raised. The point is that when we give to God, he doesn’t just match it, he gives so much more!  God is not in the “matching” business…He is in the blessing business!

有时，政府部门会在电视上主持马拉松式的电视节目，为某个项目筹集资金，然后有人会匹配所筹集的金额。重点是，当我们奉献给上帝时，他不仅仅是匹配它，他给了更多！上帝不是在做“配对”的生意……他是在做祝福的生意！

Don’t be afraid to give your best.  Trust God, and experience His blessings in your life.

不要害怕全力以赴。信靠神，在你的生命中经历祂的祝福。
