NUMBERS 21
8 And the Lord said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
民数记 21
8 耶和华对摩西说，你要制作一条火蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被蛇咬的，一望这蛇，就必得活。

9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
9 摩西就制造了一条铜蛇，挂在杆子上；凡被蛇咬的，一望这铜蛇，就活了。

Look And Live
仰望得生

Israel had complained again against God and he had sent forth fiery serpents amongst them, and all those who were bit by the serpent died.
以色列人再次抱怨神，神就差遣火蛇进入他们中间，凡被蛇咬的，都死了。

This is a picture of sin, the sting of sin is the law:
这是罪的图画，罪的毒钩就是律法：

1 Corinthians 15
56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
哥林多前书15
56 死的毒钩就是罪，罪的权势就是律法。

Sin has bitten all of us, we have been bitten by sin, and we are now dead spiritually.
罪咬了我们所有人，我们被罪咬伤，现在属灵上已经死了。

But there is hope, God told Moses to put a fiery serpent on the pole, so everyone, who was bitten by the serpents, could look and live.
但有盼望，神吩咐摩西将一条火蛇挂在杆子上，凡被蛇咬的，仰望这蛇就能活。

This is one of the greatest pictures of Jesus in the old testament.
这是旧约中最伟大的耶稣预表之一

John 3
14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
约翰福音3
14 摩西在旷野怎样举起蛇，人子也必照样被举起来；
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
15 叫一切信他的都得永生，不至灭亡。

Jesus was lifted up, he has placed on the cross and everyone who looked at the cross and acknowledge their sin and trusted in Jesus, could have everlasting life.
耶稣被举起来，祂被钉在十字架上，凡仰望十字架、承认自己罪并信靠耶稣的，就能得永生。

But you have to look, you can see the pole with the serpent on it, you can read about it, you can admire it, but do you look at it?
但你必须仰望，你可以看到杆子上的蛇，你可以读到它，你可以欣赏它，但你仰望了吗？

Everyone, who looks at the serpent, lived.
凡仰望那蛇的，就活了。

In verse 55-58 of 1 Corinthians 15, the sting of the law was removed:
在哥林多前书15章55-58节，律法的毒钩被除去：

55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
55 死啊，你的毒钩在哪里？阴间啊，你的胜利在哪里？

56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
56 死的毒钩就是罪，罪的权势就是律法。

57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
57 感谢神，祂借着我们的主耶稣基督赐给我们胜利。

58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
58 所以，我亲爱的弟兄们，你们要坚定，不可动摇，常常在主的工作上多做工，因为你们知道，你们的劳苦在主里不是徒然的。

The Christian can say in verse 55, death has no fear for me. I have looked at the cross and now I can live.
基督徒可以在第55节说，死亡对我不再可怕。我已仰望十字架，现在我能活了。

He/she can say in verse 57, that he/she has the victory through Christ and that now they can serve God in a new and living way.
他/她可以在第57节说，通过基督他/她得了胜利，现在可以以一种新的、活泼的方式事奉神。

Have you looked at the cross of the Lord Jesus Christ, if you do, you can experience life in all its fullness.
你是否仰望了主耶稣基督的十字架？如果你仰望了，你就能经历生命的丰盛。
