Serving God Properly (Chinese/English)

HEBREWS 12
Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

因此，我们既得了不能震动的国，就当存感恩的心，借此以敬畏和虔诚事奉神，使祂喜悦。

29 For our God is a consuming fire.
因为我们的神是烈焰。

Serving God Properly
Next to being a child of God through the redemptive power of the precious blood of Jesus, serving God comes a pretty close second, it is a tremendous joy and privilege.

正确地服务上帝
除了通过耶稣宝血的救赎成为神的儿女外，事奉神是仅次于此的，是极大的喜乐和特权。

I often refer to this, I have the great privilege of writing and now preaching and there isn’t one time that I either write or preach, that the awesome responsibility of doing this lays heavily on my heart.
我常提到这一点，我有写作和现在传道的极大特权，每次写作或传道时，这份重大的责任都沉重地压在我心上。

Whatever we do, whether it is cleaning the toilet or preaching the gospel, we do it as if God was watching.

We do not serve some vague being, who does not care about how we do things, Jesus is perfect in all His acts, our Saviour Jesus was the perfect Son, perfect carpenter, He was perfect in every way.
我们不是事奉一个模糊的存在，不在乎我们如何做事；耶稣在祂的一切行为中都是完美的，我们的救主耶稣是完美的儿子、完美的木匠，祂在各方面都是完美的。

We should serve God in reverence and in godly fear, but what is godly fear?
我们应当以敬畏和虔诚事奉神，但什么是虔诚的敬畏呢？

It is the fear of letting God down or of hurting his heart. We want to serve Him excellently in all we do, we must have the standards He has.
它是对让神失望或伤害祂的心的敬畏。我们希望在一切事上卓越地事奉祂，我们必须有祂的标准。

For me and here’s a confession… I am not good at washing up… I sometimes have to do the dishes twice… but I seek to do them as if Jesus was going to eat out of them, we should clean house as if Jesus was coming to our home, we should make the bed as if Jesus was going to sleep in it and we should serve Him as if He was sat there watching us, which of course He is!
对我来说，这是一个坦白……我不擅长洗碗……有时候我得洗两次……但我会像耶稣要用这些碗吃饭一样去洗，我们应该像耶稣要来我们家一样打扫房子，像耶稣要睡在床上一样整理床铺，像祂坐在那里看着我们一样事奉祂，当然祂确实在看着我们！

Why? Because Our God is a consuming fire
为什么？因为我们的神是烈焰。

Everything we do in our lives, some of it will be stubble and some will be rubies and gold, some will remain, and some will be burnt off.
我们生命中所做的一切，有些是草木禾秸，有些是红宝石和黄金，有些会存留，有些会被烧毁。

Let’s make sure all our service for God is of the ruby type and acceptable to God our precious Saviour and Lord.
让我们确保我们为神所做的一切事奉都是红宝石般的，蒙我们宝贵的救主和主喜悦。
