JEREMIAH 6
15 Were they ashamed when they had committed abomination? nay, they were not at all ashamed, neither could they blush: therefore, they shall fall among them that fall: at the time that I visit them they shall be cast down, saith the Lord.
他们犯了可憎之事感到羞耻吗？不，他们一点也不羞耻，也不会脸红：因此他们将在跌倒的人中跌倒；在我探访他们的时候，他们将被推倒，主说。

16 Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
主如此说：你们要站在路上，观察，寻找古老的路径，哪里是正路，就行在其上，你们的心灵就必得安息。但他们说：我们不走那条路。

17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.
我也为你们设立了守望者，说：要听号角的声音。但他们说：我们不听。

The Old Paths

The tale of the nation of Judah is our story. It is the story of today’s church, surely not! Have we been carried to Babylon?
犹大国的故事就是我们的故事。这是今日教会的故事，真的吗？我们被带到巴比伦了吗？
犹大国的故事是我们的故事。这是今日教会的故事，真的吗？我们被掳到巴比伦了吗？

Obviously, we haven’t physically been taken away, but we have in a spiritual sense.
显然，我们没有在肉体上被掳走，但在灵性上却被掳走了。

Have we also been taken into captivity by some sin and carried off to be far from God?
我们是否也因某些罪被掳，远离了神？

Why were the children of Israel/Judah taken into captivity?
以色列/犹大的子民为何被掳？

The first thing is that they weren’t ashamed of their sin, their sin did not make them blush. When sin dulls your mind and you start making excuses for it, then you need to beware, you are on a slippery slope to being taken captive.
首先，他们对自己的罪不感到羞耻，他们的罪没有让他们脸红。当罪麻木你的思想，你开始为它找借口时，你要小心，你正滑向被掳的危险斜坡。

Secondly, they were told by Jeremiah how to avoid this, but they refused to respond to rebuke. So many times, they had been told to repent and ask for the old paths; they were presented with the right way; they knew that these paths were good, but they refused to walk in the right path.
其次，耶利米告诉他们如何避免这一切，但他们拒绝接受责备。他们多次被告知要悔改，寻找古老的正路；他们被指引到正确的道路，他们知道这些道路是好的，但他们拒绝走在这条正路上。

Do we know the right path, but still refuse to take it and walk on it?

There is the sound of the trumpet, you think people would listen to it, but again they refused to listen.

You hear the sound of the trumpet every Sunday Morning and Evening, but your mind is so numb that it has little or no effect. Millions and millions of so-called Christians go to church every Sunday, but they leave the church no different to the time they entered it. They are one of two things, spiritually dead or spiritually dormant; which are you?
你每个主日早晨和晚上都听到号角的声音，但你的心智如此麻木，它几乎没有影响。数以百万计的所谓基督徒每个主日去教会，但他们离开时与进入时毫无变化。他们要么是灵性死亡，要么是灵性休眠；你是哪一种？

The nation of Israel/Judah had plenty of chances to repent and to turn back to God, but they refused, so they were taken into captivity. This will happen to us, if we don’t return to the Old paths.
以色列/犹大国有许多悔改和归向神的机会，但他们拒绝了，因此被掳。如果我们不回到古老的正路，这也将发生在我们身上。

It’s like the church in Ephesus in Revelation; we have to return to our first love.
就像启示录中的以弗所教会，我们必须回到我们起初的爱。

Jesus says let him who has ears to hear to all seven churches, we have not just to listen but to act in repentance and obedience.
耶稣说，凡有耳可听的，就应当听七个教会的话，我们不仅要听，还要悔改和顺服。
