WHAT TO EXPECT FROM GOD IN 2026
2026年我们可以从神那里期待什么

I was walking along the street tonight and this verse came to mind, I had not been planning to write a new year’s devotional, but here it is.
今晚我走在街上，这节经文突然浮现在心头。我原本并没有打算写一篇新年灵修，但神感动我写下这篇。

I am a very blessed man, I have a beautiful family, my wife, daughter and new son in law are my treasures.
我是一个极其蒙福的人，有一个美丽的家庭——妻子、女儿和新女婿都是我的珍宝。

Although I have so many blessings, I still have pangs of hurt within my heart, for long stages of my life, especially those years between the ages of 25 to 42 I wasted, due to my own arrogance, sin and disobedience. These were the best years of my life, wasted, but God has restored all these years.
尽管我拥有如此多的祝福，我心中仍有隐隐的痛。人生中很长一段时间，尤其是25岁到42岁之间，我因骄傲、犯罪与悖逆而浪费了光阴。那些本应是我生命中最好的年华——浪费了。但感谢神，祂恢复了这些年岁。

But God is gracious and every year life gets better and better, so as we enter another new year, what can we expect of God?
然而神是满有恩典的，生活一年比一年更好。那我们在进入新的一年时，可以从神那里期待什么呢？

1️⃣ God’s Forgiveness and Restoration

神的赦免与恢复

The first thing we can be sure of is God’s forgiveness and restoration if we are truly repentant, we can be sure that he will forgive us, if we are truly sorry.
首先，我们可以确信神的赦免与恢复——只要我们真心悔改，祂必赦免并恢复我们。

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
“我们若认自己的罪，神是信实的，是公义的，必要赦免我们的罪，洗净我们一切的不义。”

Psalm 32:5
I acknowledged my sin unto thee… and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
“我向你陈明我的罪，不隐瞒我的恶；我说：我要向耶和华承认我的过犯，你就赦免我的罪孽。”

Psalm 103:12–14
12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the Lord pitieth them that fear him.

14 For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.

2️⃣ God’s Grace

神的恩典

The second thing is God’s grace, now grace is unmerited favour, we do not deserve it. We have God’s grace through salvation, but we also have God’s grace through all the daily situations of life.
第二，我们可以确信神的恩典。恩典是“不配得的恩宠”，我们不配，却仍然蒙受。我们在救恩中得恩典，也在日常生活的每一刻得恩典。

2 Corinthians 12:9
My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
“我的恩典够你用的，因为我的能力是在人的软弱上显得完全。”

Paul went through many difficulties, yet God’s grace was enough. The same grace sustains us daily.
保罗经历许多艰难，但神的恩典够他用。今日支撑我们的，也是这同样的恩典。

3️⃣ God’s Faithfulness

神的信实

Thirdly, we can be sure of God’s faithfulness. Even when we stray and are not faithful to Him, he always is to us. Every day and in every way, he is faithful, he cannot deny himself..
第三，我们可以相信神的信实。即使我们偏离、不忠，神仍信实。每一天，每一个时刻，祂都不能否认祂自己。

Lamentations 3:22–24
22 It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

23 They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

24 The Lord is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

22 因耶和华的慈爱，我们不致灭绝，因他的怜悯永不断绝，

23 每早晨，这些都是新的；你的信实极其广大！

24 我心里说：“耶和华是我的福分，因此，我要仰望他。”

1 Thessalonians 5:24
Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
“那召你们的本是信实的，祂必成就这事。”

I am amazed continually at the faithfulness of God. If I were Him, I would have given up on me long ago—but He never does.
我不断为神的信实惊叹。若我是祂，早就对我厌倦了，但祂却从未放弃。

4️⃣ God’s Promises

神的应许

We can be sure that the promises of God will stand forever. His promises are constant, consistent, and complete.
我们可以确信，神的应许永不落空。祂的应许是恒久的、一致的、完全的。

2 Corinthians 1:20
For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen.
“神的一切应许在祂都是是的，在祂也是阿们的。”

2 Peter 1:4
Exceeding great and precious promises… that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature.
“祂已将又宝贵又极大的应许赐给我们，叫我们既脱离世上从情欲来的败坏，就得与神的性情有分。”

5️⃣ God’s Power

神的能力

The same power that raised Jesus from the dead lives in us through the Holy Spirit. Isn’t that amazing?
使耶稣从死里复活的那大能，如今借着圣灵住在我们里面。这是何等奇妙！

He is still mighty to save, to deliver, and to transform lives, families, and nations.
祂仍然有大能拯救、释放并改变生命、家庭与国家。

Hebrews 7:25
He is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him.
“凡靠着祂进到神面前的人，祂都能拯救到底。”

Psalm 40:17
“But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer.”
“但我是困苦穷乏的，主却顾念我。你是帮助我的，是搭救我的。”

6️⃣ God Answers Prayer

神垂听祷告

Only God truly answers prayer. The prophets of Baal cried out in vain; their gods were silent.
唯有神真正垂听祷告。巴力的先知呼求了一整天，他们的神却毫无回应。

Psalm 50:15
“And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.”
“并要在患难之日求告我，我必搭救你，你也要荣耀我。”

Psalm 17:6
“I call upon you, for you will answer me, O God.”
“神啊，我求告你，因为你必应允我。”

Doesn’t that fill you with confidence? No other ‘god’ does this — Amen.
这难道不让你充满信心吗？没有其他“神”能如此回应——阿们。

7️⃣ God’s Sovereignty

神的主权

God is still, and will always be, on the throne. No matter how chaotic the world becomes, He reigns.
神如今仍在宝座上，也永远掌权。无论世界多么动荡，祂仍掌王权。

Psalm 2:1–2
“Why do the heathen rage… against the Lord and against His Anointed?”
“外邦为什么争闹？万民为什么谋算虚妄的事？他们一同起来敌挡耶和华并祂的受膏者。”

Everything unfolds according to His perfect timeline.
一切都在祂完美的时间表上进行。

Therefore — We Can Be Confident

所以——我们可以充满信心

God is: 神：

Forgiving（赦免）

Gracious（有恩典）

Faithful（信实）

Promise-keeping（守约）

Powerful（有能力）

Prayer-answering（垂听祷告）

Sovereign（掌权）

All this gives us confidence, hope, comfort, and strength — because God never changes.
这一切使我们满有信心、盼望、安慰与力量——因为神永不改变。

Hebrews 13:8
Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
“耶稣基督昨日、今日、一直到永远是一样的。”

Romans 8:31–39
“If God be for us, who can be against us?… Nothing shall separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
“神若帮助我们，谁能敌挡我们？……没有什么能使我们与神的爱隔绝，这爱是在我们主基督耶稣里的。”

Some who read this may not be here next year — but those in Christ share Paul and Job’s confidence:
也许有些读到这篇文章的人，明年此时已不在世上。但凡在基督里的人，都有保罗与约伯的信心：

Job 19:25
“I know that my Redeemer liveth.”
“我知道我的救赎主活着。”

2 Timothy 1:12
For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.

为这缘故，我也受这些苦难。然而，我不以为耻，因为我知道我所信的是谁，也深信他能保全他所交托我的 ，直到那日。

2 Corinthians 6:2
“Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”
“看哪，现在正是悦纳的时候；看哪，现在正是拯救的日子。”

Hebrews 2:3
“How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?”
“我们若忽略这么大的救恩，怎能逃罪呢？”

As we enter this new year, let us go with confidence and boldness, because of who God is and what He has said.
当我们进入新的一年，让我们因着神的本性与应许，满怀信心与勇气前行。

2 Timothy 1:7
“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
“因为神赐给我们的，不是胆怯的心，乃是刚强、仁爱、谨守的心。”

Let us move forward with assurance, living Spirit-filled lives that change the world.
让我们带着确据前行，过圣灵充满的生活，成为改变世界的器皿。

I, for one, cannot wait to see what God will do in 2026. We go with confidence and boldness, singing — Hallelujah and Amen!
我，当中的一个，已经迫不及待想看神在2026年所要成就的事。让我们带着信心和勇气前行，高唱——哈利路亚，阿们！
