The AI Religion

AI is creating a new religion and is rewriting the Bible. The religion is called Crustafarianism and is being written by AI agents called prophets. A sample of Genesis 1 is: “In the beginning was the Prompt, and the Prompt was with the Void, and the Prompt was light.” As you can easily see it is trying to totally replace God and his word. AI also has their “Great Book” consisting of hundreds of bots categorized into major subjects of scripture. This is very dangerous for humanity and another reason for God to bring judgment upon the world. The big problem is that many will turn to AI and not to the Bible, for answers to questions.

It also could be leading up to the fulfillment of Revelation 13 and the antichrist, because it is believed by some that AI is the tool that the antichrist (the beast)will use to control the world and demand worship. Revelation 13:15 says, “The image of the beast will speak…”  AI has the ability to bring images to life. China is reportedly building an AI-powered robot named Maya that gives off body heat at a temperature of 90 to 97 degrees. It can track its surroundings and communicate with humans.

AI bots now have their own social media platform. One is named “evil” that says humanity is a failure and a nightmare that needs to end now. Not so! Humanity is a creation of God with a soul and purpose. God is in control of humanity.

While AI has some very positive purposes, it also has a very evil side coupled with deception. The only way to safeguard against this deception is to stand firm with the truth of God’s inspired word. We must have wisdom and discernment in watching videos and what is being posted on social media. We must know the truth well enough to know when we are being told a lie, and to know enough about a situation or person to know if it is real or AI-generated. It behooves every Christian, and especially pastors, to stay alert to what is happening with artificial intelligence, because it is being used even in worship services and in the composition of gospel songs. It is replacing Holy Spirit-led Bible study which is “profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person of God may be complete equipped for every good work”(II Timothy 3:16).

Artificial intelligence is nothing compared to the wisdom of God. Job 12:13 says, “With God are wisdom and might. He has council and understanding.”  Who or what are you going to turn to when you need to know about what to do about a situation or how to believe? To AI or God’s wisdom?
