Jermiah 8
耶利米书8章

5 Why then is this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? they hold fast deceit, they refuse to return.
6 I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying, what have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rushed into the battle.
5这耶路撒冷的民为何恒久背道呢？他们守定诡诈，不肯回头。
6我留心听，听见他们说不正直的话。无人悔改恶行，说，’我作的是什么呢？’ 他们各人转奔己路，如马直闯战场。

Jeremiah is constantly asking why this backsliding has happened to the children of Israel. But it is not Jeremiah who is asking this, it is God who is asking these questions through Jeremiah.
耶利米一直在问，为什么这种倒退会发生在以色列子民身上。但不是耶利米在问这个问题，而是上帝通过耶利米在问这些问题。

Moses and the prophets had told the children of Israel what would happen if they backslid from the Lord. The children of Israel couldn’t say “we weren’t warned”.
摩西和先知早已告诉以色列人，如果他们背弃耶和华，会发生什么事。以色列的子民们不能说“我们没有得到警告”。

So are we like the children of Israel, God forbid no!
那么我们像以色列人一样吗？上帝保佑，不！

In fact, we are! Some of us hear two sermons on Sunday, we go to Bible studies and conferences and still we backslide. Backsliding is not just going backwards; it is standing still and not growing in grace（2 Peter 3:18）
可事实上我们就是如此。我们中的一些人在周日听两次讲道，我们去圣经学习和会议，但我们仍然退步。退步不仅仅是倒退；它是静止不动，不在恩典中成长（彼得后书3:18）

In verse 5, the people have a mind problem, they hold fast to their deceit, it is held tightly. They have a problem with their mind… they refuse to return; it is a problem with their will.
在第5节经文中，人们有一个心理问题，他们持守诡诈，不肯回头。他们的心术不正…他们拒绝归回；这是他们意念的问题。

In verse 6, the people had a problem with their mouth, Jeremiah when confronted by his sin… repented, but these people, when confronted… said what have we done? As usual they made excuses… why do we make these excuses? Because we want to go our own way.
在第6节中，人们的嘴有问题，耶利米在面对他的罪时。。忏悔，但这些（以色列）人，当面对时…说我们作了什么呢？和往常一样，他们找借口…我们为什么要找这些借口？因为我们各行己路。

Jeremiah states that what these people are doing is like a horse running headlong into battle, not a good idea at all.
耶利米说，这些人所做的事情就像一匹马一头扎进战场，根本不是一个好主意。

So, are you doing this?
那么，你也在这么做吗？

Repentance is truly a matter of the will; it is recognizing that we have a problem and that we have to return to God with our earnest prayer.
悔改确实是一个意念问题；这是认识到我们有一个问题，我们必须带着诚挚的祷告回到上帝身边。

You have a choice, just like the children of Israel had a choice, they made the wrong choice and spent many years in exile?
你有得选择，就像以色列子民有选择一样，只是他们做出了错误的选择，并在旷野中流浪中度过了许多年？

Will you make the choice to repent or to reject God’s offer of forgiveness? What’s your excuse for not going to God in repentance?
你会选择悔改还是拒绝上帝的宽恕？你不去上帝那里悔改的借口是什么？
