The World Is Living In Deception, Unaware Of What Is Happening

As the world goes about it daily business as usual, and its obsession with entertainment and technology, how much awareness is there of what is really going on in current events? Matthew 24:37-39 says, “As in the days of Noah, so it will be the coming of the son of man. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage until the day when Noah went into the ark, and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the son of man.”

Of most importance is what is going on in the Middle East. How many are unaware that those who have said they want to “wipe Israel off the face of the earth,” have fulfilled prophecy just by making such a statement. It was prophesied in Psalm 83:4, “Come, let us wipe them out as a nation, let the name of Israel be remembered no more.” Is there a realization that Israel will never cease to exist (Jeremiah 31:35-36)? Those who are trying to divide the land and fighting against Israel are deceived. They are also deceived in not knowing that those who bless Israel will be blessed, but those who curse Israel will be cursed.

Now on to other subjects:
How many people are not aware that AI is impersonating pastors, and chatbots are saying, “I am Jesus?” Talk about deception!

How many people are not aware that there is coming a day when the whole world will be under the control of a man who claims to be God, and it will not be possible to buy or sell without giving allegiance to him? Read about this in Revelation 13. “He deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped its image” (Revelation 19:20), with tragic consequences, (Revelation 14:9-10).

How many people are not aware that in the effort to have peace in the world, sudden destruction will come? 1 Thessalonians 5:3 says, “While people are saying there is peace and security then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.” To think that there can be a lasting peace apart from God is deception.

How many people are deceived in believing that the world will continue as it always has? “They will say, where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation” (2 Peter 3:4).

How many people don’t realize that they have been given over “to the lust of their hearts to impurity, to the dishonoring of their bodies among themselves, because they have exchanged the truth of God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the creator.” They have been given over to dishonorable passions, “And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done (Romans chapter 1), “with all wicked deception for those who are perishing because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion so that they may believe what his false in order that all may be condemned who do not believe the truth but have pleasure in unrighteousness”(II Thess. 2:10-12). Not recognizing truth is deception.

Now here is the clincher: How many people have been deceived into believing that they are going to heaven by being religious or living a good moral and righteous life? If you are one of those people accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, who died for your sins and rose from the dead for your salvation. No matter how bad your past has been, or how good of a person you think you are, this is your only way to heaven. However, one must realize that he or she is a sinner in need of God’s grace, but to not recognize this is another form of deception.

1 John 1:9 says, “If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ” The truth will set you free from deception.”

John 14:6 Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life.
