All Glory To God?  所有的荣耀归于神？

1 TIMOTHY 1
 提摩太前书1章

17 Now to the King of the ages [eternal], immortal, invisible, the only God, be honour and glory forever and ever. Amen.
17但愿尊贵、荣耀归与那不能朽坏、不能看见、永世的君王、独一的神，直到永永远远。阿们！

All Glory To God?
 所有的荣耀归于神？

What is the ultimate point of salvation?
救赎的终极目的是什么？

Why does God save us?
上帝为什么要拯救我们？

Surely it must be for our benefit… Well yes, there are wonderful benefits to us.. Amen.
这肯定是为了我们的益处…是的，对我们来说有极大的益处…阿们。

But the real reason, He saves us is this – “TO BRING ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL GLORY UNTO HIMSELF.”
但他拯救我们的真正原因是…给他自己带来绝对和完全的荣耀。

Look at these wonderful verses in 2 Corinthians 4:
看看哥林多后书4章中这些精彩的经文：

6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.
6那吩咐光从黑暗里照出来的神，已经照在我们心里，叫我们得知神荣耀的光显在耶稣基督面前。
7我们有这宝贝放在瓦器里，要显明这莫大的能力，是出于神，不是出于我们。

Check out the end of verse 7, that the excellency of the power may be of God and not us.
看看第7节的结尾，这莫大的能力是出于神，而不是出于我们。

Here is the main reason: God saves us and, therefore, God deserves all the glory.
主要原因是：神拯救了我们，因此，神理应配得到所有的荣耀。

That is why Paul waxes lyrical here, because he can say Amen to all the things that have happened in verse 12-16.
这就是为什么保罗在这里充满抒情，因为他可以对12-16节中发生的所有事情说阿们。

It is all of Him and none of us, and if we know this, we can say the words in verse 17.
所有的能力都是出于他，而不是出于我们，如果我们知道这一点，我们就可以说出第17节中的话。
