Go Stand And Speak

ACTS 5
19 But the angel of the Lord by night opened the prison doors, and brought them forth, and said,
19 但主的使者在夜间开了监狱的门，带他们出来，说：

20 Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.
20 “去，站在殿里，对众人讲论这生命之道。”

GO STAND AND SPEAK

It wasn’t just Peter and John; it was all 12 of the Apostles. The religious leaders put all of them in jail!
不仅仅是彼得和约翰；是全部十二个使徒。宗教领袖把他们全都关进了监狱！

Now throughout Scripture, the angel of the Lord appears, and this is commonly Jesus appearing before His earthly ministry.
在整个圣经中，主的使者出现，通常被认为是耶稣在祂地上事工之前的显现。

Maybe this was Gabriel who appeared to Mary?

I love what the angel says! He tells them to go stand in the Temple and speak the words of this life.

You know so many churches organise events for people to come to and that is great, but we have to go where people are.

Many will not enter a church building, except at Christmas, or a funeral, or for a wedding.

All these events are good, but we are told to go into all the world and preach the Gospel.

To do this, we must leave our comfort zones, and go where people are.

As a young Christian, I was privileged to be a member of the Young Life Campaign and United Beach Missions, who shared their faith on the street and on the beach.

When you share in the open air around your hometown, there is no hiding place.

People who know you will see you. People who live near you, and who work with you, will recognise you.

I think it is one of the motivating factors to drive you closer to God, because you can’t hide your Christianity.
我认为这是推动你更靠近神的一个激励因素，因为你无法隐藏你的基督信仰。

Your life has to match your talk.
你的生活必须与你的言辞相符。

It is time for the Church as a whole, and the individual believer to stand and speak the words of Life, wherever that may be.
现在是整个教会和每个信徒站出来，在任何地方讲论生命之道的时候了。
