ACTS 7
51 Ye stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do ye.
你们这些硬着颈项、心耳未受割礼的人，总是抗拒圣灵：你们的祖先怎样，你们也怎样。

52 Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? and they have slain them which shewed before of the coming of the Just One; of whom ye have been now the betrayers and murderers:
你们的祖先哪一个先知没有迫害？他们杀了那些预先宣告那义者来临的人；如今你们又成了那义者的背叛者和凶手：

53 Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it.
你们受了天使所传的律法，却不遵守。

54 When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth.
他们听见这些话，心里极其刺痛，就向他咬牙切齿。

THE CUTTING POWER OF GOD’S WORD
神话语的刺透力

We are coming to the end of one of the greatest defences of the Christian faith ever given, we do not know how old Stephen was, history tells us that he wasn’t all that old and yet here he was telling the council of the Jews, the full history right from Abraham to the present day.
我们即将结束对基督教信仰最伟大的辩护之一，我们不知道司提反的年龄，历史告诉我们他并不算老，然而他却在这里向犹太议会讲述从亚伯拉罕到现在的完整历史。

It was ok, up to verse 48, when he says God lives not in temples made with hands…what the Jewish leaders are beginning to think, but our forefathers built this temple, for God to live in. You mean to say that he doesn’t live here anymore? Well yes says Stephen.
一切都还好，直到第48节，他说神不住在人手所造的殿中……犹太领袖们开始思考，我们的祖先建造了这座殿给神居住。你是说他不再住在这里了吗？是的，司提反说。

In his sermon, Stephen had called out the previous generations for their sin and unbelief and now he was placing the same accusation on this current generation, look at the three words at the end of verse 51 – SO DO YE.
在他的讲道中，司提反指责了前几代的罪和不信，现在他将同样的指控放在这一代人身上，看第51节末尾的三个词……你们也怎样。

Of all the words that Stephen said, these were perhaps the most cutting, because they identified the current hearers with previous generations. You see and this is so true today, we love to hear how bad the previous generations have been and they probably have, but we never liked to grouped with them. Goodness me, we aren’t like them at all.
在司提反所说的一切话中，这些可能是最具刺痛力的，因为它们将当前的听众与前几代人等同起来。你看，这在今天也是如此，我们爱听前几代人有多坏，他们可能确实如此，但我们从不喜欢被归为与他们一样。天哪，我们完全不像他们。

As soon as the council heard this, they went absolutely mad, it says they gnashed with their teeth, they literally were in total rage.
议会一听到这话，简直气疯了，经文说他们咬牙切齿，他们完全处于暴怒之中。

You see Man is always seeking to blame someone else, anyone else to be honest, but when men are faced with the reality of what Happened to Jesus, they react in rage and anger.
你看，人总是试图责怪别人，坦白说，任何人，但当人们面对耶稣所发生之事的事实时，他们会以愤怒和暴怒回应。

That is why the gospel is a stumbling block to many, they cannot comprehend that it is their sin, that has put Jesus on the cross.
这就是为什么福音对许多人来说是绊脚石，他们无法理解是他们的罪将耶稣送上了十字架。

This is the reason that people react with so much hostility when you share the gospel, they simply do not want to be confronted with their sin.
这就是为什么当你分享福音时，人们会如此敌对，他们根本不想面对自己的罪。

Paul, who was listening to all of this and probably covering his ears, was consenting to the death of Stephen, he thought that killing Stephen was one of the best things the Jews could of ever done.
保罗听到了这一切，可能还捂着耳朵，他同意杀死司提反，他认为杀死司提反是犹太人能做的最好的事情之一。

Stephen told the whole counsel of God, he gave it to them straight and honest. He did not hide anything from them, he wasn’t afraid of placing the blame for Christ’s death squarely where it belongs.. IT WAS MAN’S SIN THAT SENT JESUS TO THE CROSS
司提反完整地传达了神的旨意，他直截了当地、诚实地对他们说话。他没有向他们隐瞒任何事，他不怕将基督之死的责任明确归于应得之处……是人的罪将耶稣送上了十字架。

Let us preach Christ and him crucified.. like Stephen Did
让我们像司提反一样传扬基督和祂被钉十字架。
