Baby Jesus’ Hand

Before I woke up on Dec 24, I had a dream.

In pitch-black darkness, I was riding a bicycle. I worried that a car might hit me because it was too dark for anyone to see me.

As that thought crossed my mind, I suddenly felt a tiny, soft, warm hand touching mine on the bicycle handle. It was not a large hand holding me firmly, like the way I often imagine the hand of Jesus Christ. Instead, it was the small hand of a baby.

The touch filled me with comfort and joy. With my spiritual eyes, I seemed to see the baby smiling at me, silently saying, “I love you.”

I held the baby’s hand, and suddenly a woman appeared in front of me, sharing her testimony of faith in Jesus.

Jesus knew what was in each person’s heart and did not entrust Himself to them” (John 2:24).

“But I know your heart. So I entrust Myself to you.

I know you will hold the baby and not drop him.
So I entrust Myself to you.

Do not be afraid. Keep moving.

In the darkness, I am still with you.
Even though you cannot see the future,
you will find your way,
because I am guiding your obedient heart,
step by step.”

12月24日，在我醒來之前，我做了一個夢。

一片漆黑中，我騎著腳踏車。擔心車子看不見我，會不會撞上我，心裡充滿不安。

就在這個念頭閃過的瞬間，我感覺到一隻小小的、柔軟而溫暖的手，輕輕地觸碰著我握著腳踏車把手的手。那不是我平常所想像、屬於耶穌基督那隻強壯有力的大手，而是一個嬰孩的小手。

那樣的觸碰使我感到深深的安慰與喜樂。我的屬靈眼睛彷彿看見那嬰孩帶著微笑，對我說：「我愛你。」

我握住了那嬰孩的手，忽然之間，一位女子出現在我面前，開始分享她對耶穌的信仰見證。

「耶穌知道人心裡所存的，並沒有將自己交託給他們。」
（約翰福音 2章24節）

然而，主這樣對我說：

「但是，我知道你的心，
所以，我將我自己交託給你。

我知道你會緊緊抱住那個嬰孩，不會讓他掉下來，
因此，我將我自己交託給你。

不要害怕，繼續向前。

即使在黑暗之中，我仍與你同在。
即使你看不見未來，
你仍會找到道路，
因為我正在引導你那顆順服的心，
一步一步地前行。」
