Dire Consequences – 严重后果

NUMBERS 20
24 Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

25 Take Aaron and Eleazar his son, and bring them up unto mount Hor:

26 And strip Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son: and Aaron shall be gathered unto his people, and shall die there.

DIRE CONSEQUENCES
严重后果

Aaron had been in it from the start, he had been at Moses side since the very beginning.
亚伦从一开始就参与其中，自始至终都在摩西身边。

But disobedience changes everything.
但不顺服改变了一切。

There is a long and sorry list of godly men and women in the bible.
圣经中有一长串令人遗憾的敬虔男女名单。

So, you think you can’t fall.
所以，你以为自己不会跌倒。

The strongest man in the bible, Samson did.
圣经中最强壮的人，参孙跌倒了。

The wisest man in the bible, Solomon did.
圣经中最智慧的人，所罗门跌倒了。

The man whose heart was closest to God, David did.
与神心意最亲近的人，大卫跌倒了。

The man who talked face to face with God, Moses did.
与神面对面交谈的人，摩西跌倒了。

The man who was called the friend of God, Abraham did.
被称为神朋友的人，亚伯拉罕跌倒了。

In the garden of Eden, man was stripped of his innocence by the devil.
在伊甸园中，人被魔鬼剥夺了纯真。

Disobedience leads to real pain, all the above came back in repentance, but all of them lost something.
不顺服导致真正的痛苦，以上所有人都悔改归回，但他们都失去了某些东西。Samson lost his spiritual eyesight.
参孙失去了属灵的眼光。

Solomon lost his fellowship with God.
所罗门失去了与神的团契。

David lost the joy of his salvation.
大卫失去了救恩的喜乐。

Moses lost his spiritual legacy.
摩西失去了属灵的遗产。

Abraham lost his spiritual vitality.
亚伯拉罕失去了属灵的活力。

Disobedience strips us of our innocence.
不顺服剥夺了我们的纯真。

I spent many years in disobedience to God, striving against God.
我多年来不顺服神，与神抗争。

Let me tell you, disobeying God, is not worth it.
让我告诉你，不顺服神是不值得的。

The devil told Eve, Hath God said. It’s only a little disobedience, it can’t really hurt, but it does.
魔鬼对夏娃说，神真的这样说吗？只是一点不顺服，不会真的有什么伤害，但其实不然。

Moses and Aaron probably thought that their disobedience was nothing, after all they had struck the rock before, Samson had shaken himself many times, but God was not there.
摩西和亚伦可能认为他们的不顺服无关紧要，毕竟他们之前也击打过磐石，参孙也多次抖动自己，但神不在那里。

Obedience is the only way forward for the believer. Disobedience is a dead end street, it leads to years of wilderness wandering.
对信徒来说，顺服是唯一的前进之路。不顺服是死胡同，导致多年的旷野漂流。

The children of Israel had twelve spies, ten didn’t believe God, two did, they choose to believe the ten, instead of heeding the words of Joshua and Caleb.
以色列人有十二个探子，十个不信神，两个相信，他们选择相信那十个，而不是听从约书亚和迦勒的话。

Today if you hear my voice, harden not your heart Hebrews 3.

Don’t end up like Aaron on Mount Hor, stripped of his garments, because of your sinful disobedience.
不要像亚伦在何珥山上，因罪恶的不顺服被剥去衣服。

Follow God with your whole heart.
全心跟随神。

To obey is better than sacrifice.
顺服胜于献祭。

1 Samuel 15:22
And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

撒母耳记上15:22
撒母耳说，耶和华喜悦燔祭和祭物，岂如喜悦人顺服祂的声音呢？看哪，顺服胜于献祭，听从胜于公羊的脂油。
