My Faith In God

With life there comes happiness and pain
Some days the sun shines or it rains

Each day is a challenge from within
I pray and I ask God to forgive me for my sins

Although I question my life ups and downs
I often wonder if my questions make God frown

About the things I ask from within my heart
That is tearing me slowly apart

With these burdens, I kneel down to pray
For God to PLEASE take this pain away

I ask God to hold my hand or carry me if I fall
And to make me stronger, so that one day I will stand tall

To fight against the evil that lay in my path
With the shield of God…faith I hath

No longer would I question God’s plan for me
God gives me protection, love and security

Why?

Because…

I Am God’s Property!
