Beloved Lord Jesus, how beautiful are Thy ways—how gentle Thy footsteps across the trembling soil of our lives. In these days when the world groans, when shadows lengthen and nations shake, Your voice still whispers with the same ancient tenderness: “Be not afraid, it is I.”
You are the One who walks upon the storm, not to display power, but to draw near to the fearful. You are the Shepherd who gathers the lambs with His arm and carries them in His bosom. You are the Bridegroom who has never once forgotten His bride. You are the Savior who has never loosened His grip on a single soul that trusted in Him.
And now, as the hour grows late and the world strains under the weight of its own unraveling, Your people feel the pull—the holy tug of eternity drawing us homeward. The Spirit stirs. The signs intensify. The heavens seem to lean low. And Your Word rings truer than ever:
Luke 21:28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Oh Christ, how beautiful You are in such a time as this. When fear rises, You rise higher. When darkness deepens, Your light grows sweeter. When the world trembles, Your love stands unshaken. When hearts faint, Yours beats steady and strong.
You are the anchor of the soul, sure and steadfast. You are the Rock that cannot be moved. You are the King whose kingdom cannot be shaken. You are the Lamb whose blood still speaks better things. You are the Lord who promised, “I will come again.”
And so we draw closer—closer than yesterday, closer than ever before. We cling to Your Word. We rest in Your promises. We hide beneath the shadow of Your wings. We lift our eyes toward the eastern sky, knowing the dawn of eternity is nearer now than when we first believed.
1 Thess 4:16-17 For You, O Christ, are not slow concerning Your promise. You are patient, merciful, gathering souls, calling hearts, preparing Your bride. But soon—so soon—the trumpet will sound, and the dead in Christ shall rise, and we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord.
What a day. What a moment. What a Savior.
Until then, we walk with You—hand in hand, heart to heart— loving You more deeply, trusting You more fully, honoring You more beautifully, for You alone are worthy.
“Lord Jesus, draw my heart closer to Yours as the days grow darker and the hour grows late. Let my love deepen, my faith strengthen, and my hope shine brighter. Keep my eyes lifted toward You, my Redeemer, my King, my everlasting joy. Hold me steady, keep me faithful, and prepare me for the day when I shall see You face to face. Amen.”
