God’s Plan For The Future Of Humanity

The United Nations has a global agenda for 2030. The creators of artificial intelligence have plans for transhumanism-connecting humans with computers-to extend longevity. I even came across a headline which read, “The Last Day of Life on Earth Has Been Calculated by Scientists -This is How Long We Have Left.”  Humankind is not in control of how long our existence will be, or what transpires until then. God is over all of creation. What does the Bible say regarding the future of humanity? Does He have a Divine timeline?

I will begin by saying that the world’s political events, along with the rapid advancement of technology, is all leading toward the fulfillment of Revelation 13. There will be a one-world government with an inability to buy or sell unless one worships the anti-Christ, also referred to as the beast. The “whole earth marveled as they followed the beast…and the worshiped the beast”(Revelation 13:3-4). To get the full context read the entire chapter. This is where humanity is headed! It is part of the Tribulation Period, “such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, and never will be” (Matthew 24-21-22).

Along with all of this a peace treaty will be signed with Israel and the Middle East nations. However, it will be a false temporary peace because it will be broken by the antichrist.

There is also coming a time soon when all true Christians will be caught up to the presence of God and in the twinkling of an eye be taken out of the world (1 Thessalonians 4:15-17). Many believe this event will happen prior to the Tribulation Period. 1 Thessalonians 4:18 says to “comfort one another with these words.” There would be no comfort by going through this future seven-year period of God’s judgment on humanity.

Also, when millions of Christians suddenly disappear to the presence of God all at the same instant, there will be unbelievable chaos, economically, politically, and religiously.

The good news is that there is also coming a period of 1000 years of peace, righteousness, and justice, because Satan will be bound (Revelation 20:2-3).

How soon all the above will happen is known only to God, but it will happen, because Bible prophecy has never been wrong. And the way things are shaping up, it may not happen in the far-distant future. It could happen sooner than we think. Author Terry James writes, “The end of the journey has been determined by the prophetic Architect of Heaven. The course is unalterable. Mankind moves ever more swiftly through the waters of history in trajectory toward a destination both catastrophic and magnificent.” *

With all that has been said in this article, there is “wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. Therefore, God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that they may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10).

Don’t be deceived. The truth of God’s future plan for humanity will happen, maybe in your lifetime, or even in this generation. It is set by God, not according to the schedule or goals of humanity.
