The Approaching Global Events

The year 2027 is being called a turning point for humanity and catastrophic events by whistleblowers and investigative journalists, saying the planet is on borrowed time with possible disasters that will affect the entire globe. It is all speculation as to what might happen and why do they choose the year 2027? However, it is very interesting that secular people are talking about distinct possibilities that will devastate the planet.

Anyone who reads through the Book of Revelation about the prophesies of global events, particularly Revelation 16, will read about heat waves, 100-pound hail stones, springs and rivers turning into blood, extreme darkness, demonic spirits roaming the world, and the greatest earthquake in the history of humanity, but these are not speculations. They will happen! Bible prophecy has never been wrong. All of the things listed above will be an expression of God ‘s wrath upon an unbelieving and godless world.

Added to all of these things is what some Christians believe will be the rapture of the Universal Church, based on 1 Thess 4:16-18. This is when all true believers in Christ will suddenly all at the same time disappear, causing political and economic chaos.

Whatever happens on Planet Earth, whether by man-made events, cosmic disturbances, or God’s divine intervention, you can experience the peace of God and have hope for the future in heaven with him. You can be saved from experiencing the wrath of God, “by waiting for his son from heaven whom he raised from the dead, Jesus who delivers us from the wrath  to come”(I Thess, 1:10).

People seem to want to put a timeline on all things, but God has no year 2027. Psalm 90:4 says, a “1000 years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past or as a watch in the night.” Ecclesiastes 3:11 adds, “he has put eternity into man’s heart yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” We are living by a human calendar now, but in God’s view we are in eternity. 2 Peter 3:8-9 reads, “Do not overlook the fact that with the Lord one day is as 1000 years and 1000 years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some slowness, but his patient toward you not wishing that any should perish but that all should reach repentance.”  It might be said that God is stretching out his “timeline” to give people an opportunity to accept him as Savior because “The day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar and heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the Earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed” (2 Peter 3:10).

So yes, God has planned devastating events that will affect the entire planet. When? We don’t know. The important thing to know is that you can be spared from God’s wrath and spend eternity with him in heaven. If you have not already done do, call upon the grace of God to save your soul. Then you can be a part of a “a new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells ”(2 Peter 3:13).

God has a plan for humanity that consists of both judgment and grace. It is up to you to decide which one you will be a part of!

(Disclaimer: I am not saying that all these Bible prophecies will happen in 2027. They will happen according to God’s will and timing).
