The Message For This Generation

It is a blessing to be living in the present generation when so many prophecies written thousands of years ago in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible are being literally fulfilled and converging in our current events. In many passages the Bible also predicted what world conditions would be like prior to the return of Jesus, and we are experiencing those things now. The fulfillment and converging of prophecies coupled with the fulfillment of world conditions prior to the return of Jesus is living proof that the Bible is inspired.

There are naysayers who mock the second coming of Christ, as stated in 2 Peter 3:3. “… scoffers will come in the last two days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. They will say,’ Where is the promise of this coming?’” However, Jesus himself, said in John 14:2-3, “If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you to myself that where I am, you may be also.” After Jesus spoke to his disciples before his ascension back into heaven, it is written in Acts 1:9-11“when he had said these things as they were looking on, he was lifted up and a cloud took him out of their sight and while they were gazing into heaven, as he went, behold, two men stood by them in white robes and said ‘men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into heaven? This Jesus who was taken up from you into heaven will come in the same way as you saw him go into heaven.’” The words of Jesus, who cannot lie, are the promise of his coming!

The fulfillment of Bible prophecy is one of the basic foundations supporting the divine inspiration of the Bible, which means it is inspired in other areas of belief as well. It means it is 100% true as to who Jesus is and what is the way of salvation. In reference to Jesus, it says that he is the Savior of the world (1 John 4:14), and the only mediator between God and humanity (1 Timothy 2:5). Acts 4:12 says, “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.”

Jesus and the Father are one(John 10:30). Jesus is the son of God in human flesh(John 1:14). There is the assurance of salvation(1 John 5:13).

I am blessed to write for this website in this era of human history, to get the message out to a world about Jesus and the way of salvation, at a time when it is needed the most. I hope you will lay claim to the teachings of the Bible.

The message for this generation is that the time is ripe for Jesus to return. The time is ripe for The Savior. When he came the first time, “the world was headed for destruction from the inside out, because humanity was enslaved by sin in every human being. Men and women were at war with themselves and with one another.”* The same could be said about today.

Are you ready for his return?

  1. Amen! Very good and fitting for our times!

  2. John-
A vitally important message. My sister’s granddaughter is not an “active participant” in wanting to hear the Word, and it’s breaking my sister’s heart. But – I keep telling her- let God handle it.
    Thanks for sharing!
    God Bless~
