Is Your Mouth Sweet Or A Sewer? – 你的口是甜美的还是像下水道？

PROVERBS 15
28 The heart of the righteous studieth to answer: but the mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things.
义人的心研究如何回答；恶人的口倾吐邪恶之事。

IS YOUR MOUTH SWEET OR A SEWER?
你的口是甜美的还是像下水道？

So often and this has happened to me, I blurt out an answer without even thinking about it.
经常发生在我身上，我不假思索地脱口而出一个答案。

Has that ever happened to you?
你有没有过这样的经历？

If only, we had taken our time to think about our answer, then we wouldn’t get into so much trouble, so often I say the first thing that comes into my head, which is the wrong thing, most of the time.
如果我们花时间思考我们的回答，就不会惹那么多麻烦，我经常说出脑海中冒出的第一个想法，大多数时候都是错的。

Even when giving advice, we need to study the situation, how often do we say the wrong thing, which eventually comes back to bite us.
即使在给出建议时，我们也需要研究情况，我们多常说出错误的话，最终反过来伤害我们。

Evil people are known by their mouth, the ability to bridle one’s tongue James 3:1-12, can only truly be done, by a person controlled by God’s spirit and living in submission to Him.
恶人因他们的口而被认识，控制舌头的能力（雅各书3:1-12），只有被神的灵控制并顺服祂的人才能真正做到。

I remember in two of my jobs, I was surrounded by people who used outright profanity and foul language and they thought nothing of it, their mouths were just like a sewer, you didn’t want to go near them.
我记得在我的两份工作中，我周围都是满口亵渎和肮脏语言的人，他们对此毫不在意，他们的口就像下水道，你不想靠近他们。

Is your tongue sweet or is it a sewer?
你的舌头是甜美的还是像下水道？

If it is the latter, then as a Christian, you need to repent and ask God’s holy spirit to transform that area of your life.
如果是后者，那么作为基督徒，你需要悔改并祈求神的圣灵改变你生命中的这一部分。

Maybe you are keeping the wrong company or maybe you are watching too much rubbish off the TV and internet, if you are doing either of these, you need to stop.
也许你交错了朋友，或者你在电视和网络上看太多垃圾，如果你做了这些，你需要停止。

PROVERBS 15 talks a lot about the tongue as does the book of James, studying both these passages of scriptures and see what the word of God.

Remember it is not the number of words we say, it is what we say that counts.
