By Faith We Heal: Through Spirit & Flesh

In the shadowed vale of suffering, he lay, “I can do all things,” he said, “through Christ which strengtheneth me” (Philippians 4:13).

His weary heart, with faith in Jesus stayed, “Fear thou not; for I am with thee,” God decreed (Isaiah 41:10).

The storm of pain would rise, relentless, wild, “Come unto me,” said Jesus, “all ye that labour” (Matthew 11:28).

But in the tempest, he felt Jesus’ smile, “By His stripes, ye are healed,” a promise given (Isaiah 53:5).

Through nights of tears, His love a guiding light, “For with God, nothing shall be impossible” (Luke 1:37).

In prayerful whispers, seeking strength and might, “The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want” (Psalm 23:1).

Each morning brought new hope, a dawning day, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you” (Jeremiah 29:11).

With scripture in his heart, he found the way, “The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil” (Psalm 121:7).

When doubt would creep, he’d kneel in fervent plea, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart” (Proverbs 3:5).

And Jesus whispered, “Peace I leave with thee, My peace I give unto you,” unshaken (John 14:27).

The healing touch of Christ, a balm so sweet, “Thy faith hath made thee whole,” His gentle word (Matthew 9:22).

With steadfast faith, he’d rise on joyful feet, “Be strong and of good courage,” all concurred (Joshua 1:9).

Through every trial, with Jesus by his side, “For He hath said, I will never leave thee” (Hebrews 13:5).

In Christ’s embrace, his fears and pains subside, “We are more than conquerors through Him” (Romans 8:37).

In victory, his heart began to sing, “The joy of the LORD is your strength,” (Nehemiah 8:10).

With every breath, he praised his Healer King, “I am the LORD that healeth thee” (Exodus 15:26).

A Prayer of Healing and Faith:

“LORD, in the name of Jesus, I come before Thee with a heart full of hope and faith. I thank Thee for Thy grace and for the strength Thou hast given in times of trials and tribulations. I pray for those who are enduring health crises, that they may find comfort in Thy words and healing in Thy presence. Let Thy Holy Spirit fill them with peace and courage, as they trust in Thee with all their hearts.

Lord Jesus, Thou art the Great Physician, and I ask Thee to touch each person in need with Thy healing hand. May Thy love and mercy flow through them, restoring their health and renewing their spirit. Strengthen their faith, that they may lean on Thy promises and find solace in Thy embrace.

As Thy word declares, “By His stripes we are healed,” I embrace this promise for all who seek Thy Divine intervention. Let their hearts be filled with hope, knowing that with Thee, nothing is impossible. Guide them through their darkest hours, and let Thy light shine upon them, bringing comfort, healing, and restoration. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Whomever is facing a health crisis at this very second and moment in time – or perhaps has a loved one who might be undergoing a physical diagnosis that is challenging, or maybe terminal -may you all find peace, strength and comfort in God’s Word. He’s our Great Physician and loves us all equally.
