Constant Light, Endless Love: A Poem

Upon this earth, where shadows dance,
In trials vast, and fleeting chance,
There shines a light, divinely bright,
Our constant Lord, our guiding sight.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? – Psalm 27:1

Through storm and strife, our hearts are still,
His steadfast love, our souls fulfill,
In valleys deep, or heights of grace,
His light endures, and shows His face.

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.” – Psalm 138:7

In darkest night, His stars aglow,
They light the path where we must go,
Though tempests roar and thunder sway,
His peace will guard and light our way.

For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy. – Psalm 61:3

When sorrow’s tears our hearts assail,
In His embrace, we shall prevail,
For in His Word, true hope we find,
Our guiding star, forever kind.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. – Psalm 119:105

Each morning dawn, with golden hue,
Reminds us of His mercies new,
And as we walk life’s winding road,
His truth remains our sure abode.

It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:22-23

Through trials fierce and days of pain,
His love, unyielding, shall sustain,
Our refuge strong, our firm delight,
His presence near, our guiding light.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake. – Psalm 23:1-3

In deserts dry, where hope seems lost,
He leads us on, despite the cost,
Our Shepherd true, with tender care,
He carries us, our burdens bear.

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. – Isaiah 41:10

When fears arise and doubts entwine,
His promises, forever mine,
In Him, our strength and peace are found,
His love, a light that knows no bound.

In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God. – Psalm 62:7

From age to age, His truth endures,
In Him, our hearts are safe, secure,
His faithfulness, a beacon bright,
Our constant Lord, our endless light.

For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations. – Psalm 100:5

And now, in prayer, we humbly bow,
Before His throne, we lift our vow:
Dear Lord, we thank Thee for Thy grace,
For being light in every place.

The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. – Numbers 6:24-26

 “May the peace of the Lord fill your hearts and guide your steps. May His unwavering love and light shine upon you in every season of life. May His presence be your strength and comfort, now and forevermore, in Jesus’ name. Amen.”
