The Crimson Shield: Christ’s Blood Over A Broken World

A Crimson Shield of Grace

Beneath the weight of darkened skies,
Where sorrow weaves and justice cries,
A river runs, so rich, so deep,
A crimson tide that bids us keep.

It flows from wounds once torn open wide,
Love poured out, arms open no pride,
A sacrifice, divinely spun,
That shields the hearts of everyone.

The streets now hum with restless fear,
Chaos rising, drawing near—
Yet still His blood stands firm, unshaken,
A refuge never once forsaken.

The heavens stir, the earth may groan,
Yet He will not forsake His own.
His blood still speaks, His love still calls,
A fortress strong—He guards us all.

The voices call for wars to cease,
But anger drowns the cry for peace;
His mercy, strong, undimmed by age,
Still quells the storm, still calms the rage.

The hands of greed grasp towers tall,
While truth is silenced in their thrall,
Yet in the shadows, whispers bright
Declare His blood restores the light.

No wall too high, no night too black,
No evil holds what Love calls back;
His covenant will stand, unbent,
The price was paid, the veil was rent.

So walk within His boundless grace,
Know His blood holds time and space,
A fortress strong, a shelter sweet,
That guards the weary, guides our feet.

Though the world may churn and shake,
And nations tremble, empires break,
His blood will stand—His love will reign—
A crimson shield through joy and pain.

  2. Amen to Him
The only One that can cleanse us within.
    The lover of our soul
Who’s able to make us whole.
    Praise His holy Name,
We no longer have to live in shame.
    He triumphed over the tomb
Took our sorrows and a life of doom
Arose to Heaven to make a place for us
If in Him we put our trust.
He is back on His throne
Awaiting for His own to welcome them home.
