Tapping Into The Power Of Prayer

We know as members of Christ’s church,
that God’s Son should always come first.

As we come before Him each day,
He’s already looking our way.

With a broken and contrite heart,
Jesus sees us, never to part.

Our Lord is always by our side,
collecting each tear when we cry.

There’s no need for doubts to come in,
for God will always answer them.

His Word shows us He hears each prayer,
knowing the names of those declared.

Don’t let the devil lie to you,
for our Savior will walk you through.

His love is eternal, my friend,
and will see you through till the end.

No doubt rough times will lie ahead,
for this is what our Savior said.

God’s answers will forever be,
“Yes, No, or wait,” not “we will see.”

Free from the bondage of their sin,
letting the Savior come back in.

He waits to give His peace to you,
for it’s like no other ‘tis true.

May God’s Spirit fill your heart up,
overflowing you with His love.

His Spirit will help you to pray,
while His Presence shows you the way.

Hearing your heartfelt petition,
take hold of the joy He’s given.

Yes, Jesus desires to hear our requests,
but He wants more than what we have left.

James 5:15-16 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

About Linda Delgado

She attempted to pursue a medical field, soon after. Realizing that's not where God's plan was for her, she continued following the Lord. In 1985, she married her husband, Rodolfo Delgado (after 38 yrs, is now with the Lord as of September 2023). In August of 2022, she became a Poetry author (Living Poems: From the Father's Heart - Inspirational Poems). She also enjoys sharing God's heart through freelance writing, as well. She is also a member of Faithwriters.com. Linda still enjoys the companionship of two pets, Tina (Chihuahua) and Miss Kitty (Tabby). Their grandson (18) plans on finishing high school next year. Linda hopes to put another book together, as the Lord leads, and is hoping to pursue her interests in writing a memoir. Her writings are concentrated on hearing the heart of God, by encouraging other believers and revealing God's heart to all.
